CONSTRUCTION
Silicon Carbide and Dyneema
Silicon carbide is the strike face. It is one step below diamond on the hardness scale, and it breaks the round apart. Behind it sits a Dyneema backer that catches what is left. Two materials, two jobs, in a plate that can be concealed with the right clothing.

PROTECTION
Stops 5.56 Green Tip
Green tip is a steel-core round that punches through standard Level III plates. These plates are rated Level III+, which is the tier that specifically covers it. Also stops 7.62 NATO, .308, and every handgun round below.

Questions before you buy.
The vest adjusts, so the fit is more forgiving than a shirt. Order the size that matches your height and weight on the chart, and if you are between sizes, take the larger one. The vest is a wrap, not a fitted garment. It will pull in tighter than a shirt of the same size.
Yes. Body armor is legal in all 50 states for civilians. Some states restrict ownership for people with felony convictions. Check your local laws.
Level IIIA stops handgun rounds (up to .44 Magnum) and uses soft panels. Level III+ stops rifle rounds and uses hard plates in a carrier. Level IV stops armor-piercing rifle rounds and also uses hard plates.
Remove the panels or plates from the vest carrier. Machine wash the carrier on cold, tumble dry low. Wipe the panels or plates with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash the ballistic components.
One concealed vest and two ballistic panels or plates. One panel sits at the front, one at the back. The panels are already in the vest when it arrives.
