UHMWPE does not absorb moisture like Kevlar. Your panels will not degrade in humidity, sweat, or rain. That is why the warranty is ten years and not five.
Questions before you buy.
The vest adjusts from Small to 2XL. Loosen or tighten it to fit over what you are wearing.
Yes. Body armor is legal in all 50 states for civilians. Some states restrict ownership for people with felony convictions. Check your local laws.
Level IIIA stops handgun rounds (up to .44 Magnum) and uses soft panels. Level III+ stops rifle rounds and uses hard plates in a carrier. Level IV stops armor-piercing rifle rounds and also uses hard plates.
Take the two plates out of the vest. Machine wash and dry the vest. Wipe the plates with a damp cloth. Never machine wash the plates.
